Wow, a question to which I know the answer: the girls' cabins had eight beds to a cabin. Four sets of bunk-beds. There would be one set to the left of the front door and one set to the right. Then two more sets similarly further back by the back door....
Wow, a question to which I know the answer: the girls' cabins had eight beds to a cabin. Four sets of bunk-beds. There would be one set to the left of the front door and one set to the right. Then two more sets similarly further back by the back door. They also had screened, glassless window under the eaves with roll-down canvas covers for cool weather.
Another note of interest: In Abilene, Texas there is a Motor Hotel (apartments) from the 1940's featuring the same style cabins. I saw them there and wondered if they were the models for these or maybe they both came from the same blueprint, so to speak.
