Just the other day I learned something about this little building. Although we knew it only as the canteen, it was built (out of lumbermill castoffs) as the Gurganus' family cabin. Later the director and staff were provided with more substantial quarters. Gurganus was a Camp Hunt founder and later wrote a book about Christian camping.
