I was baptised in the stream that was right here next to the road going thru Hubbardsville. Believe me, it was cold!!! Now there is a miniture golf place right next to the stream. The stream doesn't look as deep as it was way back when.

Eddie often stayed in our home and yes, he had a lot of energy. Once he sat down, however, he would usually go right to sleep. Being in the car while he was driving was a scary experience. Stop signs, lanes and speed limits had little meaning to him....

Stop signs, lanes and speed limits had little meaning to him. His camper recruitment in New York City in the earl years made Camp Hunt possible. He once told me that he brought "animals" to camp and returned with Christians. He spoke of the anger and fighting on the way to camp and the hymn singing and sharing on the way home. The same was true when Jerry Hill would bring kids from Long Island. I was fortunate to witness the transforming power of a session at Camp Hunt. Final note: having performed a baptism in the creek, I can tell you that the cold water caused the person to come up out of that water like he was shot out of a cannon.

Now, to the left of HIM and kinda back is the forth guy, he has one leg up on a branch and one leg down. The bend in his knee of the leg that is up is slightly out of the photo. Look long enough and you will see him :)

Lesa, you have a good eye. I never noticed them. Still I can only see three but I believe you. Concerning tree-climbing at CH, my dad (F.M. Perry) told me in the early days the kids from NYC would jump off the bus upon arriving at camp and immediately...

I remember a particularly good climbing tree on the right as you go down to the canteen, although it seems to me climbing was usually verboten during camping session. Joe
