This was the earliest swimming pool that the camp had. It was built of bermed earth and a concrete block dam on the property across the road. By 1959 the dam was broken. That year we went swimming in Poolville Lake. In 1960, I think, we started using the creek in Hubbardsville. There was a nice wide, deep place but we had to walk quite a ways along the creekbank to get to it. The pool on property was built by 1967, I believe, when I worked as a counselor.
