These gravestones were used many times during ghost walks. When I led the walks, I would tell Abner's story about how his spirit was still not at rest because of(this part changed from session to session and year to year)and that he would rise to walk...

When I led the walks, I would tell Abner's story about how his spirit was still not at rest because of(this part changed from session to session and year to year)and that he would rise to walk the roads near the camp, trying to find peace for himself. After telling the story, we would lead everyone to the graves and on the way back, counselors would be placed along the roadside to make noises and run across the road as the flashlight shone ahead. Activities like that were in a somewhat less scary time. The campers were unusually anxious to get in their bunks those nights.
