My last memory of Norman Dart was when I visited him shortly before he died of a brain tumor. At one point, he started crying but could do little more than make guttaral sounds. I asked Violet why he was crying, expecting her to sya he was afraid of dying. She said he is worried about what would happen to the Hamilton church after he died. Yes, he was a tender-hearted, determined and great supporter of the camp.

Thanks for leaving a note Jared. I knew your family very well and enjoyed visiting at different times. And of course your dad was my Camp Hunt pal. Why don't you ask him to tell the story of the army recruit with the stuffed up nose.

Norman and Violet Dart were pillars of the community of Hubbardsville. I have many memories of the Darts and their kids Sandra, Diane, Kerry and Marsha. I last saw Mrs. Dart in 1997. She was a great lady. And Norman was on the board of Camp Hunt for...
Norman and Violet Dart were pillars of the community of Hubbardsville. I have many memories of the Darts and their kids Sandra, Diane, Kerry and Marsha. I last saw Mrs. Dart in 1997. She was a great lady. And Norman was on the board of Camp Hunt for many years. Just last night as dad was talking about his Camp Hunt Memories he referred to him as a sweet guy. Son Kerry lives on the hill beyond camp now with his family. JP
