Bonnie Lodge was built in the 1800's of post and beam construction, I'm told. It had horse-hair in the plaster. I can remember just as clear going up those narrow stairs (inside) to the top where there was a little window low to the floor. I think those fond memories are responsible for my having "plaster dust in my veins" today. I never seems to be satisfied unless I am living in an old house. See this picture and look close for me:

This is the last year that Bonnie Lodge & the old hobby shop were in place. Hobby shop was replaced by Grindley Hall & Bonnie Lodge was used for fire training by the Hubbardsville volunteer fire dept.
